75th Anniversary of VE Day 2020

VE Day 75 -  a quiet reflection in what was such a difficult time for so many of us due to the Coronovirus COVID#19 Lockdown Controls.  Flying in silcence  like the Barn and Tawny Owls that now call this former airfield home, Horsa gliders once flew soundlessly over the same ground, save only for the roar of their C47 tug aircraft. In this short video, using photos from the site in WW2, I've incorporated original artwork from my wife Georgina's stunning work "Blakehill Twenty Two Fifty", reflecting the past sacrifice in the beauty and peace that is left, and a promise that the RAF ensign will forever fly at the former RAF Blakehill.
