Acts of Remembrance at RAF Blakehill

The 'War To Wildlife' events take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by so many brave men and women that flew from Blakehill but never returned.

At around 12:30pm, on remembrance Sunday, a short service is held at the memorials at Blakehill to honour the fallen - the memorials are at the end of the road on the Chelworth Industrial Estate, by the original entrance to the airfield.

This event is always supported by guests from the Royal Canadian Airforce, as well as honoured veterans.    Scroll through to aee some of the event highlights.
